Field Notes

Description:

Greyish brown with darker wing tips. Male with distinctive orange-red.

Habitat:

stony deserts, rocky hills. Never perching in trees. length 12.5 cm

Notes:

Spotted in Dahab, wadi Beeda in a group of 10 or so. Also seen in Wadi Arada in a larger group 2 weeks ago (end march)
