Description:

Translucent green female copepod. This one was the only one that I saw with eggs that didn't have an egg sac on each side. In one scoop of pond water I found different species of copepods, ostracods, colonial algae, mayfly larvae, springtails, and water fleas.

Habitat:

Small freshwater pond with lots of cattails
