Take a look: http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_dragons/Gallery2.htm They have sorted the dragonflies by colour. There are 3 or 4 red ones. Diplacodes haematodes, Scarlet Percher , male and Rhodothemis lieftincki, Red Arrow, male are close matches.
