Field Notes

Description:

Stunning spiders from the family Araneidae or the orb weaver spider family. It is native to Australia and can grow to about an inch. It eats about anything that lands on it's web.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforests where trees and plants are present, or even in your garden.

Notes:

I saw this building a web in my backyard. It caught my eye as I was walking around because of its stunning appearance and magnificent color.
