Certainly the forewing underside seems to match Great Eggfly. The hindwing looks from the photo to have been badly damaged - not surprising since when we visited the place was crowded and many butterflies had settled on the wooden walkways and been trodden on.
There is a sad lack of information there regarding what they have, same on the web. All I found was "47 species" when it was opened, but no listing of what they might be.
I used the butterflycircle website to identify but since many specimens were obtained from Malaysian sources it is possible that some sub-species names may be wrong, though those names were sourced from Malaysian experts.
Bear in mind I knew virtually nothing about Asian butterflies before this trip, previously having concentrated only on birds. I have to thank Project Noah for the newly sparked interest in wildlife other than birds.
