Description:

Here, we observed only females approx 12 to 15 cm long fish, mainly gark-olive-green with vertical bright-blue stripes.

Habitat:

Native to East Atlantic and Mediterranean sea, Ornate wrasse is a very common fish in Adriatic, close to shores. This summer (an every summer) we observed it on every beach in the area, between rocks and on rocky bottoms in shallow waters close to shores.
