Green color leaves in the summer, bronze or red in the fall.
60-80 feet tall on average, can be larger.
Produces simple alternative leaves, with oak nuts.

Habitat:
Mid Atlantic, Northern Atlantic, Northern Mid-West United States.
Due to the landscape use, this tree can be found in other locations in North America.
