Description:

This mother duck and her ducklings were swimming and feeding around all the plants in the lake. It was difficult to get a clear shot of any of them because of how quickly they were moving and the fact that they kept diving under the water.

Habitat:

Lake bordering temperate forest and suburban homes. Rockwood Park, Virginia.
