Description:

American robins are migratory birds that can often be seen hopping around in search of earthworms. This one was picking at insects in the mud of a swamp. It cutely puffed up because it felt threatened by my presence.

Females build nests and lay light blue eggs.

Habitat:

T. migratorius is distributed from Alaska in the north to Mexico in the south.
