Description:

A shrubby, upright growing evergreen with grey-green leaves set off the profuse clusters of fragrant long blooming mauve flowers that butterflies love;

Habitat:

full sun in urban school garden

Notes:

Plants develop a woody base and should be sheared back to 6 inches in midsummer to promote fall flowering, and maintain a compact habit
