Field Notes
Description:
Large goose with black neck and head with a white chin strap. Upper body mostly gray with breast while the lower body is white.
Habitat:
Pods, lakes, rivers, marshes and urban areas
Notes:
Geese and ducks, particularly those nesting in urban areas, are very reluctant to leave the nest. This goose did not seem to mind my proximity to her nest at all.
