Description:

This is a Dragonfly nymph it is brown and black with six legs three on each side of its body each leg and they are all different sizes the ones closest to its head are the shortest and the back legs are the longest. The dragonfly nymph has hair all on its legs and all around the stomach and on it’s three stubby tails. The dragonfly nymph also has two big black eyes and on its stomach, there are ten curves or flaps. The nymphs are mostly found in ponds because there, water is calm for them to live in. The dragonfly nymphs also like to eat midges and mosquitoes. They also eat mosquito larvae, other aquatic insects, worms, and for a little variety even small aquatic vertebrates like tadpoles and small fish.
