Description:

Each time around this time of year I would hear a scratching sound in my garden and usually find a single wasp on an old bamboo branch harvesting wood scratchings, I assume for building a wasp nest somewhere. Last week I removed the bamboo stick while thinking of that and remember wondering if I wouldn't mind missing out on that scenario this season. And behold, this afternoon sister wasp seems to have found another source a few meters further...
