Field Notes

Description:

.Active, furry and cute with stripes on their backs.

Habitat:

These have recently spread to our gardens and I, for one love them. They jump from the mango tree....use the water pipes as a highway to reach my rooftop terrace and run merry races. Today there was only one that shared the breadcrumbs put out for the birds..

Notes:

They must be breeding nearby because they have been chewing the ropes used to trail creepers and my papaya plant leaves to make soft litter ...also I have been seeing squirrels that are smaller in size than adults running up and down my mango trees.
