Field Notes

Description:

Vividly fuschia compound flowers with magenta accents. This plant belongs to the evening primrose family and stood at around 3-4 feet tall.

Habitat:

Spotted growing adjacent to an alpine lake in Chugach National Forest. The Chugach is a temperate rainforest in Alaska.
