Field Notes

Description:

A marsupial wallaby that is listed as near threatened. Full grown adults stand at about 60cm.

Habitat:

Rock crevices and caves in isolated rock outcrops and ridges in semi-arid country.

Notes:

This is a hand-raised joey (female). Taken at the Australian Reptile Park.

Haven't been to that park since I was a lad. Is the dinosaur still there? My eyes are on the road when travelling along the F3. Glad to see this little lass being cared for. She's gorgeous. Thanks for sharing, Kram.
