Field Notes

Description:

Small, utterly restless bird, frustrates photographers. Now that I see it in the snap I can understand why it is so difficult to spot.

Habitat:

My neighbourhood.

Notes:

I heard this bird months before I glimpsed it. It makes a sound like Tchach! the dismissive sound we make with the tongue striking the palate...and then for many long agonizing weeks i saw it flit about my mango trees. Today I got a snap ...one only from a distance as I was walking down the road in front of my house. I cropped that precious single shot for a closer look.

My friend says this is Blythe's Reed warbler...is it?http://orientalbirdimages.org/search.php?Bird_ID=1759
Any help with ID will be gratefully accepted.
