Field Notes

Description:

Difficult to be 100% certain on these, legs are too long and dark for Pacific Reef Egret white phase and Intermediate Egret is not normally found in coastal waters being more of a Mangrove/wetlands bird, though that would not prevent it from flying over coastal waters. Great Egret is more likely but these pictures, taken through a hotel window at a considerable distance in early morning do not show enough detail to be absolutely certain. These are likely two different birds so I would not even discount one of each..

Habitat:

Flying over coastal waters.
