Field Notes

Description:

I could see a very fine silk web, with a row of 5 food packets or moults in a horizontal line. With the naked eye it was very hard to see which one was the spider as it was very well camouflaged, looked just like the frass. When you look at the web in the right light you can see the centre of the web (where the web converges) and that is where the spider was. The spider was approx 4mm long.

Habitat:

Cultivated tree near carpark at Cattana Wetlands QLD

Notes:

My 200th spot, and loving it!
