Description:
Fairly large songbird. Grayish-brown back and wings, dark head, warm orange breast and belly with white underparts (by the legs and under the tail). Females and males are similarly colored and patterned but males more brightly colored.
Habitat:
Bronx Zoo. Seen all around the zoo in open places.
Notes:
Very common bird here in the United States.
