Description:

Female Eastern Bluebird bringing nesting material back to a bird house. NOTE: The same bird house has several male Tree Swallows flying around and sitting on it as if it were theirs.

Both species, bluebirds and tree swallows, are cavity nesters and often use the same type of next boxes. It would seem both have the same idea as to where they want to nest, may be a little competition.
