Description:
Narrow female beetle with black head and thorax. The abdomen is primarily orange. The tips of the elytra are black. They are have a wedge shape. Antennae are combed. This one was about 7 mm long.
Habitat:
Buckwheat flowers in chaparral. Found throughout the southern US and south through Mexico into Brazil.
