Description:

Painted Lady (♂) on mediterranean creeping thyme (Thymus longicaulis) flowers.

Habitat:

Garrigue in Seih-Sou, the suburban pine forest of Thessaloniki (Greece).

According to the guide I use "Butterflies of Europe" it exists also in Portugal. I wish you to meet one soon :)
I think they exist in Portugal too but i never saw one unfortunatelly. I usually see Vanessa atalanta.
Thanks for the comment Inês. I think it is a very beatiful but and very common butterfly. Especially this spring in Thessaloni (Greece) there were unusually many of them.
