Description:

The plumage is iridescent black, glossed purple or green, and spangled with white, especially in winter.
The common starling is 19–23 cm long, with a wingspan of 31–44 cm and a weight of 58–101 g.

Habitat:

Native to Eurasia and is found throughout Europe, northern Africa, India (mainly in the north), Nepal, the Middle East and north-western China.

Notes:

Flock birds.
Migratory.
