Description:

Herbs 40–100 cm tall, biennial.. Stem erect. Basal and lower cauline leaves linear to lanceolate. Tragopogon orientalis has bright yellow flowerheads and 7-9 floral bracts equaling or shorter than the outer margin of the flowerhead.

Habitat:

Rocky meadow in Seih-Sou, the suburban pine forest of Thessaloniki (Greece).
