Description:

This butterfly has it's wings banded in color, with the wing colors being light brown, brown, and white. The wingspan is quite large, almost 10 cm in length, and has two 'eyes' on this side of it's wing. The eyes are colored a darker brown with a white spot in the middle. The wing colors and structure is thought to help the butterfly camouflage with the dry leaves. This butterfly has part of it's wing 'torn out' near the top, and it has four white strips on it's legs.

Habitat:

Found near the entrance of the rainforest where the stairs are located at. This species is found in India and Southeast Asia.
