Field Notes
Description:
Orangy brown fur, large eyes with dark-colored rings around the eyes. It has a dark brown stripe running from its lower back to its head.
Habitat:
Following telephone wires along a street, passing through trees on its way.
Usually found in medium sized trees in forests.
Notes:
I feel very lucky to have seen this vulnerable species right outside my house.
They are rarer than they should be here in Thailand due to habitat destruction and they are collected for the pet trade and for use as photo opportunities in the tourist industry.
