Description:

Dark metallic green-black wings and bright orange on the prothorax and underside of the moth. About 2 cm long. Active during the day. For National Moth Week. Family Arctiidae.

Habitat:

Semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters.
