Description:

Another common name for this plant is the Early Yellow Violet. This violet as discovered on the Mill Hill Trails in Barre near the old granite quarries. Two to five inches. Petals bright yellow; the three lower ones are marked with brown lines.

Habitat:

In rich moist woods.
