Field Notes

Description:

Squat body that is olive colored with a plain belly, which distinguishes it from the eastern narrowmouth.

Habitat:

This guy had himself wedged between two logs used for landscaping outside the visitors center at Laguna Atascosa NWR. These were the same logs that the tarantula lives under in my previous spotting. Thorn scrub habitat.
