Description:
This great blue heron displaying mating plumage is standing on its tree-top nest of sticks. The great blue heron is a large wading bird with a height of 115–138 cm (45–54 in) and a wingspan of 167–201 cm (66–79 in). This one had no visible young in the nest.
Habitat:
Wetlands area (Wakodahatchee Wetlands park)
