Description:
Dark pink bands on abdomen. Touch of pink on wings. Dots on thorax. Dark coloured otherwise.
Habitat:
Inspecting the bamboo pole at the Neora Valley Jungle Camp.I had not noticed the perfectly round hole...did it make it? I am not sure. The place is forested, on the Himalayan foothills and pretty remote.
Notes:
Is it a wasp or a bee or neither? Help please.
I have cropped the photos a little.
