Wildlife Spotting

Was found growing from forest litter at the base of a tree, just inland from the sands at Rialto Beach, near La Push, Washington. La Push is on the Pacific Ocean in a temperate rain forest. It's a fairly common plant - I've seen elsewhere on my hikes on the western side of Olympic National Park.
