Description:

Red-spotted Newt? It was hard to see, but it seemed to have a bit of yellow under its chin

Habitat:

There were at least 3 of them at the shore of a pond that also had nearby beaver activity.

Looks like an alpine newt, but as I see it's not in Europe, so this is one of the North American news.
