Field Notes

Description:

About 20mm long. Interesting tufts on legs. Subtle tans with white patterns.

Habitat:

Attracted to lights at the edge of a local national park. Two specimens found.

Notes:

Formerly known as Drymiarcha exanthes. The genus Anemosa was previously placed in CHRYSAUGINAE; PYRALIDAE.
Very cold weather recently but a single warm night drew these from the forest.
