Description:
A striking gossamer moth with brown along the outer wing margin. It has delicate yellow patterning on the abdomen, 1 cm long. Family Crambidae.
Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
Notes:
This might be the same species (?) and a male, as a previous spotting (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/33736002/fullscreen), although this one lacks the full row of black spots along the lower margin of the wings and also has a pattern on the abdomen that the previous spotting lacks.
