Description:
Adalia decempunctata, is a small and variable ladybird - which confusingly doesn't always have 10 spots. It is commonly known as the "ten-spotted ladybird" or "ten-spotted lady beetle, is a carnivorous beetle of the family Coccinellidae. The individuals of the species may in fact bear anywhere from 0 to 15 spots. The pictured one, was spotted in Agios NIkolaos, Crete island, Greece, and it had 4 spots.
