Field Notes

Description:

In our area males are not found as much as females. So seeing a male is a surprised by the pale gray color. Nicknamed "Gray Ghost" Females are more brown and both have white rumps and long tail.
This one was spotted after taking a Horned Lark

Habitat:

Mostly found in marshy areas, this one was found in an open field near a new housing development

Notes:

Images were take from inside a running car.
