No problem- it *is* a monocot, but I'm not familiar enough with Pennsylvania to know Order or Family

I doubt it's eastern skunk cabbage. The leaves are coming out of the stalk, not the base. Plus I think eastern skunk cabbage would be blooming this time of year with the weather we've been having.
