Description:

Orange milkwort grows in damp, sandy soil and bogs of pine barrens. The flower is 1/4" (6mm) and iss bright orange. Grows on a single stem. Found from New York south to Florida and west to Louisiana.

Habitat:

This little orange milkwort flower and plant was spotted on a pine needle path in a pine forest in Crooked River State Park, St Marys, Georgia.
