Brown-headed Cowbird

Male cowbird with black body and brown head. Cowbirds are know as brood parasites, where the female will lay eggs in the nest or other bird species and allow them to raise their young. In many cases, this can be detrimental to certain populations of birds, as a result of changing habitats and fragmentation.
