Field Notes

Description:

Hermit Thrush or Veery? This bird wasn't singing, so I can't base it off the that, only visual. I thought this was a veery, but a chairman of a local Audobon chapter told me that it was probably too early in the migration to be a veery.

Habitat:

Field/ forest edge. Recently burned.
