Description:

A Southern Leopard Frog spotted along the boardwalk that goes through the central wetland area at Huntley Meadows Park. I heard many frog sounds; this is the only frog I saw. Another park visitor incorrectly identified this individual as a Pickerel Frog -- please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks! Habitat:

Huntley Meadows Park, a 1,425 acre wetland area in Fairfax County, Virginia USA. Related Resource: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/huntley/
