Description:

Trilocha varians is a moth in the Bombycidae family. It is widespread in the Oriental Region. The larvae feed on Streblus and Ficus species. Young larvae are grey with large subdorsal black spots and a short, fleshy, curved horn. Mature larvae are dull brown.Pupation takes place in a boat-shaped cocoon, closely woven with white or yellow rather-papery silk. The pupa is pale yellow.

Habitat:

Seen at a farm house near a river.
