Field Notes

Description:

Baby doves...most likely Spotted doves. They are still to get a full complement of feathers.

Habitat:

The electrical meter room belonging to my neighbour. These "rooms" house the electric meter and are always kept locked. The meter reader comes along maybe once a month and takes the reading through the metal grill on the door. Cats and dogs cannot enter so I suppose it is a safe habitat; but snakes can.

Notes:

Pigeons and doves are messy nesters.
2nd pic is six days after the first one was taken.
