Description:

Crust approximately 2 inches wide and 5 inches long; covered with white-to-ochre/orange-colored spines approximately 1- to 1.5-mm long. This specimen was dormant.

Habitat:

Grows as a spreading crust , sometimes with projecting caps (diffused-reflexed) on rotting hardwood log.
