Description:
I was confused by the antenas, because they look like Butterfly antenas. But she is a Moth they call her "Butterfly Moth"....I moved her from the Trellis I am building to a Plant in the Garden and she stayed for 2 and a half day there...she did not lay eggs...
Habitat:
Gallery Forest. 900 Meters-3000 feet above sea level, next to Tanaca National Park, a Pasture , and in a Garden with Endemic trees, plants and flowers of Costa Rica.
Notes:
Castniidae are a family of day flying moths with clubbed antennae. Breaking all the rules.
