Description:

The myrmecophilous leaf beetle Clytra quadripunctata is a species of leaf beetle in the subfamily Cryptocephalinae. The larvae of Clytra 4-punctata are parasites in the nests of wood ants. Often, you can find these beetles in shrubs and trees above hills of wood ants, as was in that case, the Four spotted leaf beetle of the pics. It was found and photographed in Nea Demetrias, Volos city, Greece.
