Field Notes

Description:

Small beetle on prickly pear flower. It measured about 3mm in length. Shiny brown/bronze colouration with a pattern of white hairs on the elytra.

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario' national park, just outside of Querétaro. The area is semi-arid, with lots of acacia and cacti.
