Description:
Eastern race of the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. long white wing stripes. Black, white and red pattern on head. yellow belly. They love the sound of telephone poles. They have brush-like tongues and are unable to extract wood-boring insects from trees.
Habitat:
Forest, woodlands, orchards, parks.
